ABOUT THE NAUTILUS

With locations in Nantucket Island’s historic downtown district, and at Pier 4 in Boston’s Seaport Neighborhood, The Nautilus was built upon the idea of a shared social experience centered around the interplay between food, cocktails, and wine.

Founders Liam Mackey (the food), Clinton Terry (the drink) and Stephen Bowler’s (the wine & business) island-mentality of being “very serious about what we do, but not taking ourselves too seriously” perfectly sums up the dining experience at both The Nautilus locations, as well as the ethos of the Nautilus Restaurant Group in general. Its high-caliber, yet lively and comfortable dining experience is a direct representation of this ethos, as well as the personable, passionate and professional individuals who make up the talented Nauti Team staff.

The highly regarded, ever-evolving culinary program can best be described as ‘New England coastal cuisine meets Asian and global haute street food.’ Small plates are served alongside table feasts that pair perfectly with culinary-inspired fresh & seasonal cocktails, an award-winning, eclectic 500+ bottle wine and sake list, and an extensive craft beer and spirits list filled with industry staples and hard to find rarities.

Fueled by curated, energetic music, the equally stimulating yet neighborly atmosphere succeeds in its intention to make the new and unfamiliar feel comfortable and intimate, a philosophy that seamlessly ties the food, cocktails, wine and ambiance together to create a one-of-a-kind experience, while subtle ‘nautical-chic’ decor nods to Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, providing a touch of intrigue and edge to each of the spaces.
