Originally from Western Mass (Wilbraham), Zach Sheehan came to Boston in 2007 for school and has remained in the city ever since. Zach’s journey in the restaurant industry began when a customer at his flower shop job offered Zach a position at the restaurant he managed– Zach hasn’t looked back since. Starting out as a food runner, Zach worked his way up and soon found himself behind the bar, which is where he found true passion. Before joining Nautilus Pier 4, Zach was previously crafting cocktails at McCormick & Schmick’s in Faneuil Hall, Stephanie’s on Newbury, and Gaslight on Nantucket, which is where he connected with the Nautilus team. 

Zach brings his extensive knowledge of spirits and zeal for mixology to the Nautilus Pier 4 team. As Bar Manager, Zach works closely with Beverage Director & Founding Partner, Clinton Terry, to not only ensure Nautilus favorites are executed properly at the Boston restaurant, but also to concoct original Pier 4 exclusives of his own that incorporate seasonal flavors and fresh, local ingredients that he has the creative freedom of naming. Zach enjoys the fast-paced, upbeat atmosphere that comes with bartending. When Zach isn’t behind the bar at Nautilus, you can find him riding his motorcycle, visiting the Cape, or trying new restaurants around the city.
